6-month workmanship guarantee

Every installation carried out by CWE Solutions is covered by a 6-month workmanship guarantee, running from the date of service. If a fault arises within that period and is caused by our installation work — for example, a poorly terminated cable, an insecure fixing or an incorrect configuration — we will return and put it right at no charge.

The guarantee covers our workmanship only. It does not cover faults or damage arising from malicious damage, accidental damage, misuse or negligence, unauthorised modification or repair by others, power surges, extreme weather, or normal wear and tear. Where a fault is found to fall outside the guarantee, our standard charges apply — we'll always tell you before any chargeable work begins.

Hardware warranty

Hardware (cameras, recorders, routers, access points, EPOS terminals, printers and similar equipment) is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, as defined by the manufacturer, and for the period the manufacturer specifies. We will assist with warranty claims and, where practical, handle the manufacturer process on your behalf.

Emergency callouts

Emergency callouts are available 24 hours a day. Callout charges may vary depending on distance and time of attendance, and will be confirmed when you call. Diagnosis, parts and any work outside the workmanship guarantee are chargeable at our standard rates, agreed with you before work proceeds.

Surveys and quotations

Site surveys are free and without obligation. Recommendations for camera counts, access points and system design are typical guidelines — the final specification depends on the size and layout of your property and is confirmed at the survey. All quotations are fixed and itemised; if anything changes on site, we'll agree it with you before proceeding.
